Although winter has been kind to us thus far, we still look forward to spring. When it does arrive, you might want to keep in mind that there is a new butterfly garden in the front of Osborn Hill Elementary School for the entire Fairfield community to enjoy.
The garden’s creation is the result of a grant received from the Fairfield Foundation for Education and the generosity of Scott Jameson at Oliver’s Nursery, who donated plants for the garden. Also, special thanks go to Matt Almay, and to Marcos, Alfredo, and Kaylor at Oliver’s, who spent hours preparing the ground and doing the actual planting.
