What d
o all these children have in common? Not one is on their cell phone or staring into a tablet, computer or TV. All these kids are having fun the old-fashioned way — engaged in activities like coloring, making bracelets (like Taylor’s 
Swift’s friendship bracelets), playing Jenga or chess, decorating bookmarks or journaling.
This is all thanks to a grant –
– LMC Unplugged — requested by library -media specialist Joelle Kilcourse and provided by the Fairfield Foundation for Education.
The grant allows the students to take a break from their rigorous classwork and have some fun!
